i had the privilege of photographing this amazing young lady this past weekend. she is a senior at KHS, and has an amazing voice in the choir there. she was a bit shy at first, but she truly truly rocked this shoot, without much coaching. i was excited looking at the shots on camera, but once I got them to the screen to edit them, I realized how amazingly ...  EASY she was to shoot. thank you Tessa, for being my model for the day, and being SO much easier than my toddlers to shoot. :) it was really hard to choose which ones i wanted to share.

beautiful kailey

this precious newborn girl was still so very tiny, even at 3 weeks old! my boys must have been monsters... it is so easy to forget how small and fragile they can be when they are first born. she was so alert and awake, and we all had a challenging time getting her to close her little eyes and stay asleep for some shots! but, we finally got there, and i was so happy with the way our photo shoot turned out. i almost wanted to leave the basket and blanket there for her to sleep in, she seemed to be so comfy in it! oh, and brandon (their pup) was such a trooper. you know that he will be watching over that little one as she grows, and making sure she is safe. ash and ryan, thank you so much for allowing me to share a special little part of your little family's young life!
