beautiful kailey

this precious newborn girl was still so very tiny, even at 3 weeks old! my boys must have been monsters... it is so easy to forget how small and fragile they can be when they are first born. she was so alert and awake, and we all had a challenging time getting her to close her little eyes and stay asleep for some shots! but, we finally got there, and i was so happy with the way our photo shoot turned out. i almost wanted to leave the basket and blanket there for her to sleep in, she seemed to be so comfy in it! oh, and brandon (their pup) was such a trooper. you know that he will be watching over that little one as she grows, and making sure she is safe. ash and ryan, thank you so much for allowing me to share a special little part of your little family's young life! 

mr. and mrs. smith

No... really. Nikki and Jeb Smith are on the blog today! I played soccer with Nikki from the time we were 7 years old all the way up through high school, and it was so great to meet up so many years later and do her maternity shots. I am so excited to post this sneak peek for the lovely couple. they were so much fun to work with, and it was so easy to capture the love they both share. little Landon is going to be one lucky boy with parents like these!

yes. these are my cousins. and my aunt. and my uncle. and they are hilarious. we had a great time shooting around this little japanese garden, and playing around on the rocks. they were definitely really good sports, and i made the mistake of complimenting my cousins and telling them how they were "so much easier to take pics of than my little ones"... i ended up regretting that, and changing my mind half way through. although, to their credit, they did smile when i said to... :) love you guys! hope you like your shots
